What we aim to publish
VAUBAN VALIOS seeks to publish original editorial work, commissioned work, owned material, licensed material, authorised submissions and lawful references and quotations.
Respect for others' rights
Copyrighted works, trademarks and other material may be protected by law. We do not claim unlimited rights to reproduce third-party material. Limited exceptions under copyright law, such as fair dealing for reporting, criticism or review, may apply in appropriate circumstances, but they are not a blanket licence and we do not treat them as one.
Concerns we can review
You may raise a concern about photographs, articles and text, illustrations, video, trademarks and branding, missing or incorrect attribution, or material you believe has been reproduced without authorisation.
How to raise a concern
Use our grievance page and choose "Copyright / Image Concern", or write to the contact email shown on this page. Please include:
- your name and contact details
- a description of the material concerned
- the address of the relevant VAUBAN VALIOS page
- an explanation of your concern
- evidence of ownership or authorisation, where relevant
What happens next
We review each concern carefully. Depending on the circumstances, we may correct, update, credit, replace, restrict or otherwise address the content. Receiving a complaint is not an admission of infringement, and we do not remove content automatically.
