Satya Nadella

Satya Nadella is chairman and chief executive officer of Microsoft, the technology company whose work spans software, cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Born in India, he joined Microsoft in 1992 and became chief executive in 2014.

His leadership places him at the centre of decisions about how widely used digital tools are developed and deployed. As AI becomes part of work and public life, questions about access, trust and the responsibilities of large technology companies remain central to that role.
